Job summary

Michiana Rotational Molding is seeking a Secondary Operations Technician – Trimming & Finishing in Constantine, MI. You will finalize molded parts with precision, removing flash and excess material, and ensuring edges meet aesthetic and functional standards.

The role involves sanding, polishing, drilling, and assembly per customer specifications, plus thorough quality inspections. You’ll work with scheduling and logistics to support on-time delivery in a busy plant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in rotomolding or plastic fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with PPE and safety protocols.
• Precision and quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, deburring, and removing excess material from rotomolded parts.
• Sand, grind, and polish surfaces to meet specs and fix defects.
• Drilling, cutting, and assembly per customer specs.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally against drawings and specs.
• Prepare parts for shipment with proper labeling and documentation.
• Coordinate with production scheduling, quality, and logistics to improve throughput.
