Job summary

Michiana Rotational Molding in Constantine, MI is seeking an Oven Operator for the third shift to run the heating, cooling, and rotation cycles that turn plastic powder into finished parts.

You will monitor machines, load molds, follow SOPs, and collaborate with your shift to meet daily production targets while adhering to safety and PPE requirements. Manufacturing experience is a plus, but we train the right person from scratch.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a high-heat environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read and follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Basic hand tool skills
• Dependable attendance and a team-first attitude
• Manufacturing experience is a plus — but we'll train the right person from scratch

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rotational molding machines, managing cycle times and temperatures to spec
• Load molds, charge them with material, and unload finished parts
• Follow standard operating procedures to keep quality and safety consistent from part to part
• Use hand tools to make adjustments and work through minor machine issues
• Record production counts, temperatures, and mold cycles accurately
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order, and report problems to your supervisor early
• Work with your shift team to keep parts moving and hit daily production targets
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
