Finishing Production Lead

Job summary

SG360 is seeking a Finishing Supervisor to lead the Finishing Department's daily production activities and ensure on-time, high-quality output under the direction of the Shift Manager.

You will assign work, adjust staffing, troubleshoot issues, and support training and development of production staff, overseeing operations such as folding, cutting, attaching, imaging, inserting, die-cutting and shrink wrapping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in bindery/finishing or related production.
• Experience as a lead, trainer, or supervisor in a production environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
• Overtime as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production schedules and adjust priorities.
• Assign staffing to maximize productivity.
• Review job tickets and ensure revisions and updates are accurate.
• Communicate job status to the Shift Manager.
• Ensure packaging requirements meet customer specifications.
• Support training and development of production employees.
• Promote safety and maintain housekeeping standards.
