Job summary

Q, LLC in Dover, NH seeks a Part Handling & Finishing Operator to process firearm components through finishing, cleaning, and preparation operations. You will support multiple departments, ensuring parts are finished, protected, and ready for inspection, coating, assembly, or shipment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing experience welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tumbling equipment to deburr and finish machined components.
• Process components through heat treat operations.
• Perform HET processing per work instructions.
• Wash, clean, and prepare parts for inspection, coating, or shipment.
• Apply protective oil to finished components before storage or shipment.
• Prepare components for Cerakote by cleaning and masking.
• Ensure all processed parts are free of contaminants and ready for the next operation.
• Safely operate production equipment following procedures.
• Identify and report quality concerns or process issues.
• Maintain safety policies and wear required PPE.
