Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Finishing Operator in Hampshire, IL. The role involves operating finishing machines, inspecting products for quality, and packaging materials.

Qualified candidates will read work instructions, adhere to safety guidelines, and support maintenance tasks in a fast-paced production setting. Pay is $17.00 per hour with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 5am to 5pm and Friday 5am to 1pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment is required or preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Finishing Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
