Job summary

Staffmark Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Finishing Operator to perform product inspections, support production processes, and help ensure quality before shipment. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, following work instructions, and clear communication with teams.

The position involves 100% visual inspections of injection-molded and machined parts, inspection of WIP and finished goods, loading seal rings for heat setting, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive inspection tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Shipping teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 100% visual inspections of injection-molded and machined products before packaging and shipment.
  • Inspect work-in-process (WIP) and finished products for defects and quality concerns.
  • Load seal rings into cure tubes for heat setting, then remove finished parts for inspection.
  • Visually inspect seal rings and finished products to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Load and unload tumblers with product and inspect completed parts.
  • Move products and shipping materials to and from shipping areas.
  • Support material handling activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean room-type inspection environment.
  • Follow quality procedures, safety guidelines, and production requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour | Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday

Finishing Operator Education Requirements
