Job summary

FIS in Columbus, GA is seeking a finishing operator to set up and operate automated finishing machines and ensure output meets client specs. You will load materials, configure equipment, perform quality checks, and document production data in Monarch DB.

The role involves packaging finished goods, maintaining production records, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Prior experience with folding, die cutting or guillotine systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2+ years relevant experience in production/finishing.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot finishing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing machines per specifications (folder, Muller, die cutter, guillotine, saddle stitcher).
• Process materials, adjust settings, perform minor repairs as needed.
• Package finished product and ensure packaging aligns with tickets.
• Document material usage, scrap, and production time in Monarch database.
