Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced Finishing Operator to set up and run automated finishing machines on the production floor, handling feeding, folding, cutting, stitching, and packaging finished products. You will adjust settings, perform minor repairs, and inspect outputs to ensure quality.

A high school diploma and relevant experience are required. Shift B runs Wednesday-Friday and every other Tuesday from 4:45 PM to 4:00 AM with a 15% shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; typically 2 years relevant experience.
• Substantial understanding of finishing operations and tasks.
• Work on routine to moderately difficult assignments with some decision making.
• Normally receives little instruction; general guidance provided on new tasks.
• Bonus: 4 years fast production machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing machines (folder, Muller, die cutter, guillotine, saddle stitcher, etc.).
• Load materials, select components/configurations, and complete finishing work.
• Produce production to meet client specifications and quality checklists.
• Document material usage, scrap, and production time; log data for cost center
