Job summary

FIS is seeking a finishing operator in a full-time role in Columbus, OH. You will set up and operate various finishing machines, including folders and cutters, to produce finished products according to client specs.

The role involves feeding, folding, cutting, stitching, adjusting settings, inspecting finished items and packaging. Prior experience with finishing equipment and data entry into Monarch is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; typically minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Ability to operate and adjust finishing machines per specs.
• Attention to material usage, quality checks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing machines (folder, Muller, die cutter, guillotine, saddle stitcher) as per job specs.
• Review job materials, tickets, and specifications; perform adjustments as needed.
• Package finished product and verify packing per ticket instructions.
• Document material usage, scrap and production time; enter data into Monarch database.
