Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking Enclosure Finishers to join our Enclosure department to build steel/metal enclosures and install walls, floors, ceilings and roofs. This is an onsite temp-to-hire role (3+ months) with overtime potential.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, use measuring tools, operate hand and power tools, troubleshoot, and work well in a team. A strong attention to detail and safety awareness are required; pre-employment screening including drug test will apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods and hand/power tools involved in construction.
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must be highly motivated.
• Able to communicate and work well with others.
• Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Overview:
Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Finishers to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.
Responsibilities:

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (basically a large metal 'house')
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment
• Requirements: (what it takes to be successful)
