Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking Enclosure Builders for our Milwaukee, WI site. This temp-to-hire role offers two shifts, onsite five days a week, with overtime eligibility.

Join a growing manufacturer of heavy gauge enclosures and power distribution equipment to help build large metal housings. You will work with a team to install walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, louvers and electrical components, using hand and power tools while reading blueprints and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Able to read tape measures and measurement devices.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Responsibilities

Title: Builder Company: Global Power Components – www.globalpowercomponents.com Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week) Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT 2nd Shift: 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT Overview: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Builders to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (large metal housing units)
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment

Requirements

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and hand/power tools involved in construction
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
