Job summary

A growing manufacturing firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking Enclosure Finishers to assist in building steel/metal enclosures. This role involves working as part of a team to construct these enclosures, installing components and ensuring quality. The position requires knowledge of construction methods, the ability to read blueprints, and strong troubleshooting skills. Employees enjoy job security with excellent hours and opportunities for overtime pay. A competency test and physical are required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Construct steel/metal enclosures as part of a team.
• Install walls, floors, ceilings and roofs.
• Mount louvers, doors and electrical equipment.

Skills

Knowledge of materials, methods and hand/power tools involved in construction

Able to read measuring devices such as tape measure

Able to read blueprints

Able to troubleshoot and problem solve

Job description

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully‑equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

We are seeking Enclosure Finishers to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (basically a large metal 'house')
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment

Requirements

• Knowledge of materials, methods and hand/power tools involved in construction
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
• Must pass competency test and pre‑employment physical including drug screen
