Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI seeks General Labor Associates to support manufacturing of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers and enclosures. This onsite role offers hands-on training and pathways to advancement within the plant.

Roles include Weld Prep, Paint Prep, Sanding, Build, Breakout, Finishing and Shop Cleaning. You will join a fast-paced team, learn multiple processes, and contribute to quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Weld Prep – Grinding and sanding steel to prepare components for blast and paint.
• Paint Prep & Touch-Up – Assist with surface preparation, masking, and paint touch-ups to ensure finished products meet quality and appearance standards.
• Sanding – Sanding and prepping steel and aluminum components for the build process.
• Build – Assisting with the assembly of generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and modular metal structures.
• Breakout – Organizing, staging, and preparing materials and components to support production operations.
• Finishing – Performing final touch-ups, inspections, and preparation of completed products prior to shipment or the next stage of production.
• Shop Cleaning – Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including general housekeeping and emptying trash bins.

Overview:

We are seeking motivated General Labor Associates at our production facilities in the Milwaukee area. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing experience and develop skills that can lead to advancement opportunities within the company.

Opportunities are available in:
