Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking Enclosure Finishers for our Milwaukee manufacturing facility to assemble large steel/metal enclosures. You will work as part of a team installing walls, floors, ceilings, roofs and mounting doors and electrical components, contributing to on-time, quality builds.

Candidates must read blueprints and use measuring devices, be highly motivated, detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively with team members. OT eligibility applies for shift work.

• Able to pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT

2nd Shift: 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT

Overview

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Finishers to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (basically a large metal 'house')
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment

Requirements

• Knowledge of materials, methods and hand/power tools involved in construction
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
