Aerotek is hiring skilled Frame to Finish Carpenters for commercial apartment projects in the Boston area, including Somerville, MA. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position with competitive pay and long-term work on large-scale residential construction.

Candidates must have their own hand tools and PPE, be able to read blueprints, and perform framing and finish carpentry tasks safely. We offer onsite work across multiple sites and opportunities for career growth in a stable team

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of carpentry or construction experience.
• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, or both.
• Must provide your own hand tools and PPE.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow construction plans or instructions.
• Must be able to perform physical work (lifting, carrying, kneeling, climbing, standing).
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general tasks on commercial apartment projects.
• Measure, cut, and install wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Install trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow all job site safety regulations and PPE requirements.
