Job summary

Icarus Construction Services is seeking skilled carpenters for a historic restoration project in Brookline, MA, with additional commercial rough framing work. You will build, install, and repair wood structures, sheathing, and gypsum wallboard, using hand and power tools.

Prioritizing safety and quality, you will contribute to complex, high-end installations. We partner with federal and state agencies; successful applicants must obtain site access clearance.

Qualifications

• This position requires proven carpentry experience and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials.
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters.
