Job summary

Cisive Inc. is seeking a Fingerprint Technician in Annapolis, MD, to capture fingerprints for incoming applicants and provide strong administrative support. You will assist applicants by email/phone/in person, schedule appointments, and process payments while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass a thorough background check including fingerprinting.
  • Must pass a Maryland-certified fingerprint technician course.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Notary is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of customer service; regular interaction with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist applicants via email, phone, and in person.
  • Schedule appointments for fingerprinting and related services.
  • Process payments and manage daily transactions.
  • QC applicant paperwork and maintain records.
  • Fingerprint applicants (training provided; no prior knowledge required).
  • Travel to AACPS/PGCPS offices and off-site locations for fingerprinting services.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks in Microsoft Office to close fingerprint tasks
  • Assist other areas of the office with administrative functions.
  • Record improvement through cross-training responsibilities.

Scope of Position
The Fingerprint Technician will serve as a shared team member for multiple divisions within the company, with the primary responsibility of capturing fingerprints for incoming applicants. This position will also assist the department with daily functions by providing exceptional administrative support and excellent customer service.
$18-19 per hour
Annapolis, MD
Essential Job Duties

  • Assisting applicants via email/telephone/in person
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Processing payments
  • QC Applicant’s Papwerwork
  • Fingerprinting applicants (does not require prior knowledge)
  • Must be trained to fingerprint and must pass the fingerprint training course provided by the State of Maryland. Traveling to our AACPS office, PGCPS office and off-site locations to perform fingerprinting services.
  • Completing daily administrative functions in Microsoft Office to close out daily fingerprint tasks
  • Assisting other areas of the office with administratie functions
Record Improvement Support cross training responsibilities.
