Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Server to provide an exceptional, refined dining experience with attentive, knowledgeable service. This role requires professionalism, strong product knowledge, and understanding of fine cuisine, wine, and service standards to exceed expectations.

You will greet guests, present and pour wine, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and uphold safety and sanitation standards, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain alcohol service permits or certifications (e.g., TABC, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent).
• Must obtain and maintain state or local food service certifications (e.g., Food Handlers Card, ServSafe).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and beverage.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in all service areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through a high-end dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and seasonal changes.
• Offer wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic pairings recommendations.
• Properly open, present, and pour wine to fine dining standards.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.
• Execute fine dining service techniques (tableside service, coursed meals, wine service, plate presentation).
• Take and deliver orders accurately with appropriate timing and coursing.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for seamless service flow.
• Maintain impeccable table maintenance, clearing and resetting.
