Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a well-rounded Fine Dining Server for the Orchid Room to join CoralTree Hospitality. You will be integral to delivering distinctive guest experiences and maintaining five-star standards.

You will greet patrons, explain menu items, serve courses and wine, and engage guests in a high-volume brunch concept on the lobby level, with a focus on personalized service and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Ability to implement and uphold service standards.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
• Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended periods during high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Explain ingredients, preparation techniques and substitutions.
• Talk about daily specials with customers.
• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Record transactions in the InfoGenesis system at time of order.
• Check in with guests to exceed guest satisfaction with each course.
• Move, lift, and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Support and uphold Forbes standards.
