Job summary

InterContinental Boston is seeking a Server Assistant to support our refined dining experience in the Food & Beverage operation. You will help keep tables ready, assist servers, and uphold Forbes-level service standards, ensuring every detail aligns with our guests’ expectations.

Ideal candidates bring luxury hospitality experience, a keen eye for detail, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required; multilingual skills are a plus, and

Qualifications

Prior experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a service-focused mindset.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Reset and maintain tables between seatings with speed and grace.
Assist servers with timely delivery of food and beverages to guest tables.
Keep dining spaces clean and orderly, including floors and surfaces.
Stock and replenish service stations with napkins, silverware, and condiments.
Fill water glasses and serve non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house service areas.
Transport and separate used china, glassware, and flatware for cleaning.
Participate in daily briefings and service training to uphold Forbes-level standards.
Collaborate with culinary, bar, and stewarding teams to ensure smooth service.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
