Job summary

The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud Costa Mesa is seeking a Server Assistant to prepare the dining area, maintain table cleanliness, and deliver all dishes and beverages to guests with superior service. You will need strong knowledge of the menu, friendly guest interaction, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include assisting servers, handling bread and beverage stations, and maintaining overall dining room operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a fine dining environment.
• General knowledge and interest in food and wine with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for service and maintain table cleanliness throughout shift.
• Deliver food, beverages and bread to guests at table or bar as needed.
• Polish glassware and cutlery as directed.
• Prepare and maintain bread and coffee stations.
• Open, close and maintain dining room and beverage station as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of menu items and cuisine.
• Greet guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
• Engage guests to create positive dining experiences.
• Execute pre- and post-shift side work and expedite as needed.
