Job summary

Sorelle in Charleston, SC is seeking a Server Assistant to support dining room service and maintain smooth operation. You will clear tables, reset stations, provide water and coffee service, and assist servers and the kitchen to expedite orders.

Requirements include 1-2 years in fine dining, knowledge of food and beverage, ability to work in a team, and comfort with POS and basic math. Must be able to lift and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of fine dining service experience.
• Knowledge of service and food and beverage, and thorough knowledge of fine dining.
• Must be able to operate a cash register POS system and Microsoft-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Clear food & utensils from tables and reset stations to keep service flowing.
• Provide water service, bread service, and coffee/tea when required.
• Welcome guests, answer menu and wine questions, and liaise with servers for guest needs.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and stock stations, linen, china, glassware, and silverware.
• Operate safely in a fast-paced, team-based environment and adhere to health regulations.
