The role involves managing front-of-house teams, maintaining high standards, and mentoring staff while upholding brand expectations in a luxury hotel setting. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fine dining, upscale restaurant.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Fine dining experience is required.
• Experience running shifts, including scheduling, performance management, and guest service.
• Ability to attain San Diego County Food Handler certification.
• RBS Certification is required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations focusing on guest service, cleanliness, and team performance.
• Ensure alignment with hotel policies and brand standards.
• Meet labor, quality, and guest satisfaction goals.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure high service levels.
• Maintain cash handling and a strong house bank.
• Lead coaching and performance reviews for front-of-house staff.
