Piero's Italian Cuisine in Las Vegas seeks a talented Pastry Prep Cook to join our culinary team and help produce the desserts and baked goods that complete our guests' dining experience.

This position pays $18-20/hr DOE with a 7am–3pm schedule, five days a week. Weekend and holiday availability is required; responsibilities include prep, decorating, plating, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation.

Competenze

• Experience as a Pastry Prep Cook, Baker, Pastry Assistant, or similar culinary role.

Mansioni

• Prepare ingredients for pastries, cakes, desserts, cookies, and other baked items.
• Measure, mix, and prepare doughs, batters, fillings, creams, and icings according to established recipes.
• Assist with baking, decorating, plating, and garnishing desserts.
• Maintain production schedules to ensure all pastry items are prepared fresh and available for service.
• Properly store, label, rotate, and organize ingredients and finished products following food safety guidelines.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and communicate ordering needs to the Pastry Chef or management team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
• Follow all health department regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with pastry, culinary, and front-of-house teams.
• Support banquet, special event, and seasonal dessert production as needed.
