Job summary

Spago Maui, part of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, is seeking a passionate Line Cook to join an iconic kitchen in Hawaii. In this fast-paced, professional environment, you will prepare dishes to exacting standards, follow recipes precisely, and collaborate with a world-class culinary team.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a line cook in a fine dining environment.
• Good understanding of cooking methods (roasting, braising, searing, poaching, frying, etc.).
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Attention to detail (in plating, measurements, portion control).
• Cleanliness / hygiene and knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow direction / recipes / prep lists precisely.
• Strong communication skills, and an ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
• A passion for food, learning, and the Wolfgang Puck philosophy of hospitality

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes to Wolfgang Puck’s exacting standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Follow recipes, prep lists, and station guidelines efficiently and accurately.
• Work collaboratively with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and the executive chef.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
