Job summary

Eddie Merlot’s in Indianapolis is seeking a Line Cook to efficiently prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen. You will follow Eddie Merlot’s standard recipes, maintain clean work stations, and support other cooks during service to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires at least one year of line cook experience, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and strong commitment to quality and sanitation in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• One or more year’s experience as a line cook, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
• Commitment to quality, service, and expanding knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up station in accordance with standard procedures and carry out food preparation assignments.
• Produce food items following standard recipes, portion control, temperature and presentation specifications.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well‑organized work station throughout the shift.
• Assist with sanitary food storage, cleaning, and organization of kitchen areas.
• Attend team meetings and communicate guest requests or improvements to Managers.
