Job summary

AHC Hospitality is seeking a dedicated cook to join our MDRD kitchen team in Grand Rapids. The role involves preparing soups, entrees, and a variety of foods to meet MDRD standards, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

You will work a full-time, 2nd shift schedule with weekend availability, and enjoy benefits such as medical, dental & vision, 401K, paid vacation, and employee discounts across hotel and restaurant properties.

Qualifications

• Paid cooking experience required.
• At least 1+ years cooking in a fine dining or comparable restaurant.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Related experience and/or training required.
• Spanish cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks, and bakes a variety of foods per MDRD standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment and maintains safety.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and follows health standards.
• Monitors food waste and portion control.
• Participates in department meetings and communicates ideas.
