Job summary

Prime Hospitality Group is seeking a General Manager for a Ruth’s Chris Steak House in St. Louis. You will oversee total operations, drive profitability, ensure food quality, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining safety standards.

Under the Director of Operations, you will manage front and back of house, lead a team of managers and staff, conduct performance reviews, and build community relationships to grow guest visits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant operations and teams.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret budgets and P&L statements.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest-friendly ambiance.
• Perform kitchen and bar line checks to ensure food quality and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes related to restaurant operations.
• Write and conduct performance reviews for the management team, establish developmental goals, and provide training.
• Delegate tasks to the management team, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with operating guidelines.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including financial reporting and ensuring proper closing procedures.
