Job summary

The role requires at least two years of fine dining service, strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, excellent customer service, and the stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or older.
• Proficient in English; strong communication.
• Knowledge of food, beer, wine and spirits.
• Familiar with sequence of fine dining service; 2+ years experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math; ability to handle money and make change.
• Stand up to 8 hours; lift 35 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate kitchen service station and communicate with FOH/BOH to meet guest expectations.
• Process guest orders to ensure proper preparation and timely service.
• Expedite movement of food to diners with servers’ help.
• Observe diners and respond to additional requests.
• Communicate with host/hostess, bussers, kitchen staff and bartender to coordinate service.
• Maintain cleanliness of plates, rims, and service areas; reset tables as needed.
• Serve courses from kitchen; may bone fish or fowl tableside when required.
• Assist bussers with stocking work stations and clearing/detting tables.
