Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen seeks an Expediter to coordinate the flow of food orders from kitchen to dining room, ensuring accuracy, timing, and proper delivery. This role bridges kitchen and servers, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of related experience, with strong English communication and sanitation knowledge. This is a seasonal full-time position with benefits.

• Understanding of health and safety rules and guidelines.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays.
• Ability to handle guest complaints to protect restaurant reputation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely service by ensuring smooth flow from kitchen to servers.
• Ensure correct priority in order preparation.
• Assist in final preparation of dishes.
• Check dishes for accuracy, presentation and temperature before delivery.
• Deliver orders to maintain fast service.
• Inspect premises for sanitation standards and assist in cleaning.
• Organize kitchen items, dry goods, equipment, and supplies, including rotation of deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.
