Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking a seasoned Fine Dining Calusso - Cook I for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will join a team delivering Mediterranean culinary experiences to guests in a luxury setting, reporting to the Sous Chef.

The role requires a passion for refined techniques, at least 3 years in fine dining, and ideally a culinary arts degree. The position offers comprehensive benefits, growth opportunities, and a culture that values service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in fine dining.
• Culinary arts degree highly preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Prepare refined dishes infusing traditional flavors and ingredients with modern techniques.
• Regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Thaw food properly by pulling it from freezer storage to refrigerate.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes.
• Maintain detailed food logs, monitoring the quality and quantity of food prepared.
• Actively communicate during busy periods to facilitate assistance as needed.
• Perform additional task reuested by supervisors.
