Job summary

The Oak Room in Georgetown is hiring Cocktail Servers to deliver attentive, personalized beverage service in a fine dining setting. You will create a warm guest experience, demonstrate strong product knowledge, and work with bartenders to ensure timely and accurate drink service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cocktail serving experience, can handle a fast-paced environment, and is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 21+ and team-oriented mindset required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• At least two (2) years of previous cocktail serving experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Actively contributes as a team player by being helpful/assisting when needed.
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safe minded manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner and acknowledge celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, and other notes.
• Interact with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
• Coordinate with bartenders and support staff to ensure timely drink service.
• Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and follow cash/payment card procedures.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make beverage suggestions.
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and venue.
