Ten Five Hospitality is excited to announce the launch of its new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown, The Oak Room. We are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our team as we create an elevated dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fine dining service and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Position Summary

The Barback supports the bar team by ensuring all stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the needs of the bartenders while working collaboratively with the front‑and‑back‑of‑house teams.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Properly set up the bar stations, prepare and restock garnishes, as directed by management.
  • Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels.
  • Clean counters and furniture, cleaning glasses, running food, clearing plates, taking out trash, unclogging sinks, etc.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the back bar, liquor displays, storage areas, and service stations.
  • Remove trash and recycling and maintain overall sanitation standards.
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked, including refilling ice wells, stocking glasses and straws, replenishing liquor bottles, restocking beers, and other beverages.
  • Organize and inventory all shipments of liquor and beer in designated areas.
  • Track opening and closing inventory levels.
  • Perform side‑work and all other opening/closing procedures.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
  • May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, cutlery used in the cutting of fruit for garnishes.
Skills and Experience
  • Six (6) months previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience.
  • Excellent listener and communicator.
  • Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.
  • Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
