Job summary

Northwest in Cranberry Township is seeking a reliable Teller to join our retail team. You will welcome customers, process transactions efficiently, resolve problems, and identify opportunities to refer to the right product or service.

You will balance cash drawers daily, participate in meetings, and support security, risk, and compliance procedures while delivering exceptional customer experiences in person, over the phone, and by email.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Banking and/or retail experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and visitors with questions, problem resolution, and other needs.
• Proactively engage with customers to understand needs and inform them of product/service features and benefits.
• Refer customers to appropriate team member for complex requests or products/services.
• Balance teller drawer daily and participate in office meetings/huddles, operations meetings, and dual control balancing of vault, ATM, and any other device, as needed.
• Deliver on our Northwest star experience and champion our customers’ financial wellness through delivery of exceptional customer experience – both in person, over the phone, and through email communications.
• Protect the bank from unnecessary risk by following compliance, risk, and operational procedures.
• Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency.
