Job summary

Advance Memphis is seeking a Financial Literacy Manager to lead our Faith & Finance program, IDA, and expansion efforts in South Memphis. This role emphasizes community impact and collaboration with partners to advance financial education.

You will recruit volunteers, manage program data in Salesforce, provide individual counseling, and work with staff to grow offerings that support residents’ long-term economic stability.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to teach or coach on financial literacy topics.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and class logistics.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for program tracking.
  • Self-driven with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit for each class and meet annual graduation goals.
  • Oversee Faith & Finance program recruitment, orientation, instruction, and volunteer connections.
  • Provide one-on-one financial counseling when needed.
  • Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure adequate Allies for 12-week sessions.
  • Maintain communication with co-facilitators and guest speakers.
