MECU Baltimore is seeking a compassionate Financial Literacy Counselor to educate members one-on-one and in groups, guiding them through counseling sessions and the Financial Literacy Program. You will review members' finances, provide tailored recommendations, teach financial education to all ages, and participate in community events to promote financial well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a financial institution preferred.
• Two years in credit counseling/debt management preferred.
• Must obtain Financial Counseling Certification in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Educate members one-on-one and in groups through counseling sessions and the financial literacy program.
• Review members' financial circumstances and provide recommendations.
• Teach financial education to people of all ages and participate in community events.
• Present information clearly using visuals and avoid overlong material.
