Job summary

Ashland Credit Union in Ashland, KY, is seeking a Financial Wellness Consultant to support the Member Experience Department. This role focuses on applying ACU’s policies and delivering financial wellness conversations to members.

Responsibilities include listening to member needs, processing loans and accounts, driving a positive member experience, and abiding by compliance standards. A High School Diploma and retail sales experience are preferred.

Position Summary:

ACU has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Wellness Consultant to join our Member ExperienceDepartment in Ashland, KY. This position will understand and execute on ACU’s strategic mission through the consistent application of policy, procedures, member experience behaviors, and financial wellness conversations.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Utilize active listening skills to understand member needs as they relate to service-related transactions and new account transactions.
• 2. Process all and complete member loans, membership and deposit products that originate through the channels of on-line or telephone.
• 3. Create a great member experience and solidify ACU loyalty by effectively responding to member needs with both service and sales channels. This includes being proactive with members and offering solutions to members as they related to their relationship with ACU.
• 4. Manage risk scenarios by utilizing sound judgement, high ethics, and prudence built upon an extensive knowledge of ACU policies and procedures.
• 5. Be a brand ambassador in all interactions with members, employees, ACU board members, and volunteers.
• 6. Actively participate in all required compliance and behavioral skill training that equip one for excellent job performance
• 7. Utilize available resources such as outbound calls, financial wellness conversations, targeted outreach campaigns and center of influence activities to capitalize on each member interaction.
• 8. Other duties as requested by Senior Leadership or manager.

Education & Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Retail Sales Experience Preferred

Ability to work Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm EST, Friday 8am to 6pm, and occasional Saturdays 9am to 1pm
