Job summary

COCC, a leading fintech provider in the Northeastern United States, is seeking a Financial Management Specialist to lead financial systems implementations and upgrades for banking clients.

You will map client requirements to COCC’s financial applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with clients to improve processes. This role requires 3–5 years banking experience, strong customer service, and willingness to travel for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years banking experience focusing on financial accounting or financial applications support.
• Experience with Oracle Financials; INSIGHT experience is a plus.
• Aptitude to learn new software applications.
• Excellent customer service and ability to handle dissatisfied customers.
• Ability to communicate with senior management and users.
• Willingness to travel 4–5 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Gather and review data to understand requirements for system implementations and bank accounting functions.
• Assist with data conversions and travel to support client conversions and implementations.
• Analyze client business practices to map to COCC functionality and process improvements.
• Conduct client meetings with staff and management, including executives.
• Educate clients on business process improvements using COCC technology.
• Support setup, testing and troubleshooting of core GL interface builds.
• Perform and support various account reconciliations.
• Handle a high volume of calls while managing other projects.
• Create training programs and curricula for clients and internal users.
• Develop requirements and test improvements to meet evolving client needs.
