Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Financial Systems Manager for a direct-hire, hybrid role. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of financial systems, including ERP, accounting platforms, and reporting tools, and will define roadmaps aligned with Finance and the broader business.

You will coordinate with Finance, IT, and external vendors, manage backlogs, and drive data integrity, compliance, and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 4-7+ years of financial systems, business applications, financial systems analysis, or product management.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including GL, AP/AR, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP/financial platforms such as Sage, Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, or Dynamics.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Experience with Jira or similar delivery tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of financial systems including ERP, accounting platforms, and reporting tools.
• Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with Finance and business objectives.
• Balance operational support with strategic initiatives to maximize business value.
• Define KPIs and success metrics for system performance, financial accuracy, and adoption.
• Coordinate with IT and external vendors for upgrades and issue resolution.
• Lead backlog and sprint planning, and oversee UAT and data validation.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Ensure data integrity, auditability, and compliance.
