Job summary

The Fiscal Technician 1 at Washington State University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) provides essential fiscal and administrative support to the Administrative and Financial Services team. You will perform transactional financial activities including data entry, account reconciliations, purchasing support, and maintenance of financial records under supervision.

This full-time permanent role is overtime eligible.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Typing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in data entry or financial recordkeeping.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform transactional financial activities including data entry, account reconciliations, purchasing support, and maintenance of financial records.
• Support the financial operations of ITS under supervision.
• Apply established fiscal methods, rules, and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
