Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Fiscal Specialist 1 in Pullman, WA. The role supports the Office of Research with fiscal and administrative duties, including IP data management and reporting. You will work under supervision with duties spanning invoicing, record keeping, and preparing financial analyses.

The position is full-time, 100% FTE, with benefits and a pathway to salary progression within the range. Overtime eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience
• Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets
• Experience working with databases
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modify fiscal records & IP databases
• Track and maintain records for internally funded innovation projects
• Invoice clients for income and reimbursements
• Prepare specialized financial reports and perform Workday tasks
