Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and profitability across one or more Check ’N Go, Allied Cash, or Cash Store locations in the district. You will supervise staff, manage cash handling, customer service, and adherence to policies while driving sales targets.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail financial services environment; travel within the district may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to meet their needs.
• Interact with customers, using active listening skills, to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations (DDO) and Corporate Office if unable to resolve the issue.
• Respond professionally to customers in response to general questions, applications, requests, sales, and calls in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, including managing a cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information.
• Process all transactions accurately and per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and Company policies.
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve metric targets.
• Maintain staff schedule and cover other stores within the district.
• Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture.
• Assist District Director of Operations with recruiting and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
