Job summary

Dade County Federal Credit Union is hiring a Regular Full-Time Financial Services Representative I in Homestead, FL to deliver high-quality member service and cross-sell products that meet financial needs. The role requires travel within the branch network within a 15 mile radius to support staffing at all locations.

You will handle transactions, open new accounts, verify identities, and assist members with loans and maintenance, while following BSA policies and contributing to branch sales

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience preferred in a financial sales environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Intermediate PC skills; MS Office and Windows are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical abilities.
• Schedule to include extended branch and Saturday hours.
• Ability to travel throughout the branch network to staff locations.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Possesses thorough knowledge of Dade County Federal Credit Union products and services.
• Establishes good rapport with members by greeting them, using their name, offering additional assistance and thanking them.
• Process all financial transactions and member inquiries accurately and timely (withdrawals, deposits, money orders, cashier’s checks, cashing checks, transfers, loan payments, cash advances).
• Identify members’ identity before transactions and verify items for authenticity to prevent fraud.
• Manage new account openings and related platform functions; address inquiries and complete maintenance.
• Handle loan applications, underwriting preparation, and funding process for loan products.
• Support branch sales objectives by cross-selling credit union products and services.
• Monitor income/expense and contribute to branch profitability.
• Adhere to Credit Union Policies and Procedures; complete required BSA training.
