Job summary

Qualifications

• Not entry-level position requiring experience in sales and service
• Experience in a financial institution with cash handling preferred
• Experience in a goal-oriented sales environment
• Willingness to obtain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) certification
• Successful completion of credit, background, and drug screens

Responsibilities

• Originate, process, close, and disburse loans; open new accounts and service existing members.
• Obtain expert knowledge of Texan's products and services to enhance members' financial lives.
• Promote and educate members on credit union products and services based on member needs realized from interviews.
• Actively cross-service members based on financial needs and account review.
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and concerns: troubleshoot issues or direct to the appropriate person; handle more complex questions for other staff.
• Provide back-up support to branch operations including floor management, processing teller transactions, and other duties as assigned
