Job summary

Texans Credit Union in Richardson, TX is seeking a Financial Services Representative at our Campbell Road branch. You will serve members, process consumer and real estate loans, and open and service accounts.

In this role you can earn monthly incentives as the primary sales contact within the branch and help members meet their financial goals with Texan's products and services. This is not an entry-level position.

Qualifications

• This position is not entry-level.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• At least one year of sales in a financial institution with cash handling.
• At least one year in a goal-oriented sales environment.
• Willingness to obtain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) certification via NMLS.
• Must pass credit, background, and drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Originate, process, close, and disburse loans; open new accounts and service existing members.
• Obtain expert knowledge of Texan's products and services to assist members.
• Promote products and educate members based on needs identified in interviews.
• Cross-service members according to financial needs and account reviews.
• Respond to member requests and troubleshoot issues; refer complex questions as needed.
• Provide back-up support to branch operations, including floor management and teller duties.

We're currently seeking a FINANCIAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE to join Team Texans at our Campbell Road branch in Richardson, TX!

POSITION OVERVIEW: In the FINANCIAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE role, you have the opportunity to earn monthly incentives as the primary sales contact within your branch. You serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union - each day you work with members to determine their financial needs, process consumer and real estate loans, and open and service accounts.

JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Act as the primary sales leader within the branch: originate, process, close, and disburse loans; open new accounts and service existing members.
• Obtain expert knowledge of Texan' products and services to enhance members' financial lives
• Promote and educate members on credit union products and services based on member needs that are realized from member interviews
• Actively cross-service members based on financial needs and account review
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and concerns: troubleshoot issues, and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance; may handle more complex questions and problems for other branch staff
• Provide back-up support to the branch operations including, but not limited to, implementing floor management, processing teller transactions, and other duties as assigned

Grade 7

Requirements

This position is not entry-level.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• At least one (1) year experience in a Sales environment in a financial institution with cash handling
• At least one (1) year experience in a goal-oriented sales environment
• Willingness and ability to obtain certification as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
• Must successfully pass a credit check, background check and drug screen.
