Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking 4th to 6th year Associates for full-time roles in financial services litigation, representing broker-dealers in FINRA arbitrations and related proceedings in California. Ideal candidates will have strong writing, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, cross-office approach, with solid case management capabilities and a top academic record.

Positions are available in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing issues for, conducting research for, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues.
• Experience in FINRA arbitration.
• Prepared outlines and exhibits for depositions; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
• Trial preparation experience, including preparation of outlines and exhibits for direct and cross-examinations.
• Case management experience, including running written discovery responses, document review and production, and working with experts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze issues and draft briefs for FINRA arbitrations and securities litigation.
• Support motion arguments and prepare for hearings.
• Organize outlines and exhibits for depositions; manage deposition logistics.
• Assist trial preparation with direct and cross-examinations and trial exhibits.
• Oversee written discovery, document review, and coordination with experts.
