Base pay range

We are actively seeking attorneys located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications for a near-term engagement with our Financial Services client:

• JD Degree from an accredited institution.
• Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.
• 4+ years of experience in a large law firm or in-house department.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiations skills.
• Experience working with hedge funds or similar asset classes.
• Preparation of Board reports and minutes.
• Experience and knowledge of U.S. Securities laws and forms; ability to understand and deal with various regulatory environments (SEC, FINRA, FCA, MSA, etc.) and applicable investment laws and regulations required (FCPA, KYC, KYB, AMC, etc.) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our corporate client on the following:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal advice and support to internal departments.
• Assist in developing and implementing contract management policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact the company's contractual obligations.
• Manage and collaborate with external legal counsel.
• Support senior legal staff with special projects and other legal matters as required.

Compensation Range

• $90.00 – $110.00 per hour
• Fully remote role.
• Compensation commensurate with experience and complexity of engagement
