Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for Temporary FinTech Regulatory and Product Attorney.

Overview: Our client is looking for an Interim FinTech Regulatory and Product Attorney.

Company: FinTech with Investing and Advisory Services.

Experience: 5+ years, FinTech SEC RIA and FINRA BD Experience.

Location: Remote.

Overview:

We are seeking an attorney with specific expertise in FinTech, SEC Registered Investment Advisor, and FINRA broker-dealer experience. The ideal candidate will have a background as a lawyer at a FinTech company such as Robinhood, Betterment, Wealthfront, Ellevest, SoFi, CashApp Investing, Stash, M1 Finance, Public, FidelityGo, Ally Invest Robo, Schwab Intelligent Portfolios, or Webull.

Responsibilities:

• Provide product counseling and regulatory product experience.
• Participate in Figma reviews with the product team to work through new product lines.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel and other team members to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Offer legal advice and support on various matters related to FinTech products and services.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years, Experience as a lawyer at a FinTech company that is both an SEC Registered Investment Advisor and a FINRA broker-dealer.
• Product counseling or regulatory product experience.
• Ability to participate in Figma reviews with the product team.
• BigLaw experience (preferably NYC corporate law) is a strong plus.

Pay Rate: $100+/hour
