Insite Group in New York is seeking a Financial Services Audit Manager focused on Funds & Alternatives. You’ll oversee asset management and private funds with autonomy and the backing of a partner group, in a role that blends client leadership with team development.

You'll own relationships with fund clients, drive multiple engagements, review statements, mentor staff, and collaborate on risk, quality and strategy.

Formación

• An active CPA licence.
• Five or more years in public accounting, ideally including some time in a manager or acting manager capacity.
• Deep audit experience with financial services clients - private equity, hedge funds, private credit, venture capital or registered funds
• Strong command of US GAAP, investment company reporting and fair value
• A natural people leader who genuinely enjoys developing others
• A confident, polished client presence and the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly
• Experience with SEC-registered entities or capital markets work would be a definite plus

Responsabilidades

• Owning the relationship with a portfolio of funds and asset management clients, acting as a trusted adviser to their finance leadership
• Driving multiple engagements at once - setting scope, timetables and budgets, and making sure they land
• Reviewing financial statements, workpapers and disclosures, and resolving technical issues as they arise
• Mentoring seniors and associates, managing performance and shaping career development across the team
• Working closely with partners on risk, quality and client strategy
• Monitoring billing, realisation and engagement economics
• Identifying opportunities to broaden existing relationships and supporting proposals for new work

A leading national firm with one of the most respected financial services teams in public accounting is looking to appoint a Financial Services Audit Manager in New York. You'll oversee a portfolio of asset management and alternative investment clients - fund managers, private funds and related entities - with real autonomy and the backing of a partner group that is actively building the team. Northern New Jersey is also available as a base, and the team works a hybrid pattern of around three days a week in the office.

• Base salary of $140,000 - $175,000, plus discretionary bonus
