Job summary

The State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a Financial Services Analyst in the Disbursement Operations Office to audit complex contractual payments and process them in statewide accounting systems. Qualifications

• Four years of professional business work experience plus one year of accounting experience.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Auditing and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process complex contract payments, reviewing requests for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit electronic contract invoices in the Contract Invoice Transmittal System (CITS) for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain records and update payment ledgers; reconcile encumbrance balances.
• Analyze vouchers and management reports; address late or rejected invoices.
• Provide training to project managers on invoicing procedures and systems.
